Dieting....ugh

I am starting a diet. This diet is called Miracle Metabolism. It is a diet that is to restart my metabolism. Yes, while some peoples metabolism is hard at work, mine is hitting the snooze button for the tenth time.  It is a low carb diet, I can only have 5 carbs per 5 hrs.  I think it will be some what easy, just because I can still have salsa, cheese, chicken, beef, nuts, etc. The only thing I will miss the most is... ICE CREAM, and chocolate. This diet is 8 weeks long, but I am doing the diet until I lose 30 lbs. It kinda seems like a ton, but I think if I just take it day by day then I will survive. A few members from my church are on this diet, and I have seen great results from them. I hope to see the same for me!! Sorry if this is boring, lol it is just the next "big" thing going on in the sticks of Wisconsin.

Vacation Bible School/Teen Retreat

This past week my church had Vacation Bible School. Praise the Lord there was a little boy who came to know Christ as his Saviour. Our theme this year was Baseball. Following VBS was Teen Retreat. Some of you might ask what is Teen Retreat? Well let me tell you it is 4 nights of camping out in the middle of no where. Yes, I do live in the middle of no where, but this my friend is worse. There is no shower, nor is there a real toilet. There is only an outhouse that is infested with flies and frogs. However, despite the non running water, and the real toilet, I had an amazing time. I wouldn't trade it for the world. Two teens girls came with us, and on Sunday they accepted Jesus as their Saviour. It was AWESOME! I had been praying for these girls to get saved that week. My first night sleeping there was HORRIBLE. I had to sleep on the ground, which I mean Duh.. what did  I expect, but man it was like sleeping on a slap of cement. My back was very sore. The second night was a little better, but still it wasn't the best. Jordyn, Bianca, and I all slept on the same air mattress. The air mattress had a hole in it. Bianca woke me up in the middle of the night to tell me that she was not going to sleep there any more. So Jordyn and I rotated so that we were sleeping the correct way on the bed. Well Jordyn is smaller than me so she is naturally going to roll closer to me on a bed that is losing air, but it was annoying, I was touching the ground with my back and tush, and my feet were in the air and Jordyn was laying on top of me. Needless to say I was tired of sleeping in that tent!!! On Friday, August 5th we went canoeing. Well I was not very excited about it at first just because I had a horrible experience my first time, anywho I had a blast. I went with Mrs. Morrow (My Pastor's Wife). I think we got dunked roughly 15-20 times. Because of the tipping I am suffering from very bad bruising. I had a leech stuck to my foot, which totally freaked me out!!!! Praise the Lord Jordyn helped me out and took care of it.  On Saturday we went to a river near by the camp site and we went tubing. This was my very first time ever tubing. Jordyn an I shared a large tube together, which made it a tad hard to steer, but Lord blessed and no one got hurt. Saturday after we got back to the camp site it rained cats and dogs. Everything was soaked. We were all hungry, tired, wet, and crabby. I help make an executive decision to go to pastor's house and eat dinner and if it cleared up then go back to the camp site. Long story short. It cleared up and we all adventured back out to the camp site. Everything was still very very very wet. Well due to the fact that it rained very hard, pastor's mom did not stay the night, so I slept on her air mattress, and Finally A GOOD NIGHTS SLEEP!!!!! Sunday after church we went back to the camp site to take all of the tents down. We decided to go to Slough Gundy (A river that has tons of currents and rapids). We floated down the river and I lost Jordyn's favorite headband!!! Oooppsss. We came to a huge rock on the river bank and decided that we were going to jump off of it. It was an adrenalin rush. We left the river and headed to Pastor's house where we enjoyed fellowship and pizza. Man, it is amazing weekend. God blessed an no one got hurt, well except for Mr. Ramos he fell and cut his shin, but he is ok. Praise the Lord. Well I will post pictures later, I had a blast!!!

Finally the wait is over!!!

I have finally moved to the beautiful state of Wisconsin! Does this me that I am a Cheese Head now? The Lord allowed Joseph and Pastor Morrow to travel to my city on Monday July 11th. We left my house Tuesday July 12th around 7 a.m. We travel through the upper peninsula. A total of 11 hrs one way! The drive was long, but it was very pretty and enjoyable. I will post picture once I figure out how to! HaHa I live next to Bader's Sporting Goods. I believe it to be the only store in the city. I have a wonderful roommate named Jessica. She is sweet and bubbly. I am really enjoying my new city so far. I love that the church and Joseph's house are only one block away from my house. I am looking forward to the rest of my days here, however I will have to get used to not having a Dunkin Donuts near by !!! I am excited to see what else the Lord has in store for me!
